Nice to Meet You!

Jake grew up in Northern California with the dream of playing professional football. He joined the military at 18 years old, deployed to 11 different countries while serving in the US Navy Special Forces from '02-'08. During his service he survived a helicopter crash and went through intensive rehab for 1.5 years to relearn how to use the right side of the body again. Jake then moved to Japan and opened two bars and three restaurants. After surviving the 9.0 earthquake and tsunami in 2011, Jake moved back to the U.S. to obtain his BA in Social & Criminal Justice. Jake ended up getting into the recruiting world in 2013, where, "I found a great environment that allows me to sit in the A/C and just enjoy my work." His hobbies are reading self-improvement books, camping, fishing, drawing and painting, and watching a movie with a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Fun Fact

I lived in Japan for almost 7 years.
